WORKPLACE MEDIATION

We understand that workplace conflicts can disrupt productivity and harm professional relationships. Our professional workplace mediation services offer a constructive and confidential approach to resolving disputes, ensuring a harmonious and efficient work environment. Let us help you navigate through conflicts with expertise and empathy.

Why Choose Workplace Mediation?

Workplace mediation is a voluntary process where a neutral third party helps disputing employees communicate and reach a mutually agreeable solution. It provides several benefits:
  • Cost-Effective: Mediation is typically less expensive than litigation or formal grievances
  • Confidential: All discussions during mediation are private and cannot be used in future proceedings
  • Timely Resolution: Mediation can resolve disputes more quickly than traditional methods
  • Preserves Relationships: The collaborative nature of mediation helps maintain and even strengthen professional relationships

Our Workplace Mediation Services

We offer comprehensive workplace mediation services tailored to meet the unique needs of any size of employer and their teams. Our services include:

  • Employee to Employee Mediation: Addressing conflicts between colleagues to restore a positive and productive work environment
  • Manager Employee Mediation: Helping resolve disagreements between supervisors and their team members to enhance communication and cooperation
  • Team/Group Mediation: Facilitating discussions within teams to address group conflicts and improve overall team dynamics
  • Performance and Conduct Issues: Assisting in conflicts related to performance appraisals, promotions, disciplinary actions and conduct concerns
  • Harassment and Discrimination: Providing a safe space to address sensitive issues and find equitable solutions

Mediation Process

Our mediation process is designed to be straightforward and supportive, ensuring all parties feel heard and respected:
  1. Initial Consultation: We begin with a confidential consultation to understand the nature of the conflict and the goals of the parties involved
  2. Agreement to Mediate: All parties sign an agreement to participate in the mediation process voluntarily
  3. Pre-Mediation Meetings: Individual meetings with each party to gather information and prepare for the joint session
  4. Joint Mediation Session: A facilitated discussion where all parties come together to explore issues, identify common ground and negotiate a resolution
  5. Settlement Agreement: If an agreement is reached, we help draft a formal agreement outlining the terms and/or actions of the resolution
  6. Follow-Up: Post-mediation support to ensure the agreement is implemented effectively and to address any ongoing concerns. This is usually carried out at one, three and six months post mediation
